From your Floral Instructor:  Cindy Torliatt

A little about me:

Working with and designing flowers has been an passion of mine for the last 12 years. I took a class at SRJC with the intention of having fun with flowers and was hooked! Over the next 3 years, I took classes part-time until I received certification in the Floristry Program at SRJC. The curriculum covered everything from the basics, such as care and handling of flowers to more advanced designs which included weddings and tribute work. In my pursuit to learn more about flower arranging, I had the opportunity to attend a one week class in the Spring of 2017 at the Covent Garden Floral Academy in London. It was an amazing experience and way to interact with a community of florists from across the world. I hope to explore with you your love of flowers as you attend our workshops. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Thank you,

Cindy Torliatt
